I’m home from camp for the night ’cause I went to the Price is Right at Behrend. I’ll be back in camp Friday morning, then returning home Saturday afternoon. Things are going budgettastic snazzy superific pudding at camp, and I’ve got a few stories to tell. Have fun, stay cool, and take a risk doing something.

S’ok. Today was fun, the grad party was nice. I’m going to camp tomorrow; will be back Saturday.
Gotta go pack, and worry about how horrible the week’ll be. Wish me luck.

Have fun, kids.

Mom is fine; nothing appears to be broken, although she is in pain. Today I’ve started packing for camp, got my hair cut, and other assorted errands around town. Yesterday was a fairly good day, for fairly good reasons. None of which I will go into too much detail here. I’ve also added a comment feature to the blog where visitors can post comments. Behold, the power of the Internet!

You know that nice golden retriever of mine I was talking about earlier… Mom tripped over him this morning and is currently in route to the ER to get checked over. We think she’s got a broken arm, as well as a bump on her head and leg. All this after she broke her leg tripping over the cat about a year ago. More details as they become available…

I worked on cleaning my room today and made a little bit of progress. The new sofa arrived, and the rest of my family is sound asleep on it right now. This week it’s been nearly impossible for me to sit down and work on stuff. I have so much to do, and deadlines approaching, but I can’t focus on it at all. This frustrates me, which leads to even less focusing. It’s just difficult when I call people I need to talk to and they’re not home or I can’t find certain info I need. It’s really discouraging.
Summer camp starts this Sunday, which means I need to pack tomorrow because I’ll be busy on Saturday. I don’t want to go. It will be the last camp I can go to as a scout because I’ll be turning 18 next month. I just think the week will be a waste of time and I’ll be bored, which will be even worse because I have stuff I could be doing at home. Summer camp next year will be touring Boston, which will be awesome.

Our new sofa is coming tomorrow, so I got to shuffle some furniture around today. I also made some virtual furniture in 3ds max, which was a lot of fun. Played SimCity 4, worked on merit badges. Did more playing than working, but you’ll have that.

I took Russell (my golden retriever) for a nice walk today, and the Lake was quite beautiful. There was the fog and blueish sky. Very nice.

Not much else to say at the moment. Have fun folks.

I went with my brother on a 18.6 mile bike hike along the long trail around the entire peninsula. We stopped at Perry Monument as well as the lighthouse exhibit for the first time. I’ve rode past it quite a few times, but never actually got a chance to read the kiosk. I would not want to be the keeper of a lighthouse.
There were a lot of mosquitoes at the park, and not too many scantily clad girls. The weather was perfect: warm but cloudy and breezy. The rain held off as well. On the way back, we stopped for fruit smoothies at Sarah’s. I was pleasantly surprised that my brother could travel the 18 miles with me.

Later today I watched part of The Hunt for Red October on TV with my dad, after eating dinner infront of the TV with mom and dad. Every once in awhile we have a very un-disfunctional day where our family might even be considered normal. That is quite fun.

It rained today, which is awesome. It might still be raining now. So, if I post this and the title tag actually works, I can go for walkies. Cheers.

Today was a day of great food. I cooked breakfast all by myself, which included scrambled eggs and melted cheese on a bagel with hot chocolate. It was really yummy. Also this evening, I enjoyed ice cream on a brownie with cool whip and cherry pie filling.

In other news, I went to a few graduation parties this weekend. They were mostly fun, except sometimes dealing with people can be a bit frustrating.

Summer camp starts next week, which should be very… interesting. Meanwhile, work on merit badges and Eagle Project continues as I try to beat the deadline of my 18th birthday. I worked a bit on my personal site as well as the DEG site today, and I think I’m gunna head off to read some more 1984 now.

Further bulletins as events warrant.
